Dalene Owens Smoot is the inspiration behind Red Spike Design. Dalene has worked in the Jewelry Industry collectively for over 25 years. She was married to a jeweler with a Graduate Geologist degree. They owned a fine jewelry business specializing in custom designs. Later Dalene went to work for another award winning custom jeweler until he closed his shop. Deciding to continue her artistic education, Dalene pursued a degree in Graphic Design. Her love for jewelry design though soon drew her back into the Jewelry Industry and she went to work for a fine jewelry company in one of the malls while finishing her degree. When the company closed the store they moved her to one of their sister companies where she worked until she retired.
Dalene is an artist at heart. Her love and passion for the arts have lead her to look for anyway to express the divine creativity God placed on the inside of her. She has had training and experience in jewelry making and design. Her love for color and design are expressed in every piece of jewelry she creates. Her jewelry designs reflect an eclectic mix of Vintage and Boho Chic.
Dalene has a strong faith in God. And she prays over every piece of jewelry she creates. She releases a prophet's reward of healing, deliverance and joy. Dalene looks at her jewelry business as a ministry not just another business.
